Free Resources to Grow Deeper

BRIAN BONE   -
While we are all stuck at home during this COVID19 crisis, let’s seek to use our extra time to grow deeper in our walks with Jesus! There are some incredible free resources available online to help you. Here are five that I would recommend exploring as you see to invest in your discipleship.
1. Ligoneer Ministries
Ligoneer has made all of their online Teaching Series available for free during this season. Their website is filled with dozens of incredible biblical video series that you can walk through yourself or with a group of friends/family to grow in your knowledge of God. Seriously, there may not be a better collection of bible studies out there! Check out their website here.
2. Right Now Media
Often called the “Christian Netflix,” RightNow Media is filled with thousands of bible studies and content to use for yourself and your family. Almost all of the video teaching offers printable study guides to use alongside the videos, so this can be a great way to lead studies for your family! There is also an entire section of their content devoted toward your younger kids. They will love it! And the best part – all of you at Emmaus Church get an account for free. Signup here.

3. Desiring God

Growing out of the ministry and teaching of John Piper, Desiring God Ministries has an incredible website filled with sermons, articles, and bible study resources to help you grow as a Christian. I am a huge fan of their “Look at the Book” content – where John Piper walks you through simple exposition of tons of bible texts. Check out their website here.
4. The Gospel Coalition
Another incredible Christian ministry that offers articles, sermons, videos, and teaching for you to digest as a follower of Jesus. Their website offers a great search feature to explore different issues by topic – be sure to explore and dig into the things that you are interested in! Check out their website here.
5. Emmaus Institue Podcast
Each year, we offer a number of incredible discipleship classes at Emmaus through our Institute for Disciple Making. Earlier this year, we made all of our recordings of previous classes available for free through a new podcast. Check it out and subscribe today! Apple Podcasts | Spotify
