Partnership Overview

In late 2018, Emmaus Church entered a partnership to support Davis Lacey and his family as they stepped out to plant a new healthy local church in Elijay, Georgia. Their church is called Autumn Ridge Community Church and is a member together with Emmaus of the Acts 29 Network. Davis is planting, leading, and pastoring Autumn Ridge toward the vital task of making disciples in Gilmer County - seeing the lost come to saving faith in Jesus, baptized, and follow Him faithfully in all of his commands.

Meet our Partners

Pastor Davis Lacey

For this work, we are partnering with Davis Lacey who is serving as Pastor and Lead Planter of Autumn Ridge Community Church. Davis and Charis Lacey moved to Ellijay in 2018 with their children, Evelynn and Haddon to plant and serve in this community.

Autumn Ridge Community Church

Autumn Ridge was planted in 2018 with the following mission statement: We glorify God by training people to learn the gospel, love the gospel, and live out the gospel: in our lives, in our community, and to the ends of the earth. They are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and Acts 29 Network.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
