Grant Programs

Adopting or fostering? We want to help!

Emmaus Church is committed to surrounding adoptive and foster families with support as they care for orphans and vulnerable children - including with financial assistance. We offer two grant programs:

Promise686 Grant

In partnership with Promise686, Emmaus sponsors a financial grant program that awards matching grants to families walking through the adoption process. This grant applies specifically to adoptive families during the adoption process.

In addition to financial support for adoption, Emmaus127 desires to come alongside adoptive and foster families to meet needs during all stages of care. The E127 Grant was created to step in with financial care for these families as they care for children.

Financial Assistant with Adoption
Promise686 Grant

One of the greatest obstacles to adoption can often be finances - it's an expensive undertaking that can cause fear for interested families. To help, Emmaus offers a grant program in partnership with Promise686 to our member families. Applications are made through the Promise686 website and awarded by their grant review team.

For more information about Promise686, visit their website below. If you are interested in applying for the grant, fill out the form below and a member of our team will be in touch.

Financial Assistant for Orphan Care
Emmaus127 Grant

The Emmaus 127 grant exists to empower adoptive and fostering families within the membership of Emmaus Church to meet the needs of their adopted or fostered children. Emmaus wants all adoptive and foster families, regardless of financial circumstances, to feel loved and supported. Any adoptive or fostering family who is a covenant member of Emmaus Church can apply.

When families apply for the E127 Grant, they indicate their foreseeable funding need for the fiscal year – one-time or recurring. The E127 Grant Review Team will review applications within 30 days for evaluations and awards. Families who encounter extenuating circumstances may apply for additional funds in the same fiscal year with awards determined by the E127 Grant Review Team.
