Meet the Klinects!
We have been married for 11 years and just welcomed our fourth child in July of this year! We have been attending Emmaus for around 13 years and have loved growing with this church! Fun fact, our first "date" was to visit Aaron's missional community at that time. We homeschool our two older kids (9 and 6) and love the flexibility it gives us to invest as a family in our kids' education.
We are so grateful to the many MC leaders, hosts, and groups that have poured into our lives over the last 11 years at Emmaus church and we are blessed to have the opportunity to foster community and spiritual growth as leaders of an MC group, along with the Burkes, in our home.
We always prioritize dinner as a group and fellowship prior to circling up and tackling the questions of the week. There are lots of kids in our group as well and we love the time of fellowship to see them fostering relationships within the church.
Spending time as a family with movie nights, game nights, family hikes and anything that encourages close time together.

Meet the Burkes!
We're Kyle and Katherine Burke! We have been married for 6 years and have a 2 year old son named Graham! We have been members at Emmaus for several years, and we are excited to be leading a Missional Community Group alongside the Klinects this year.
Discipleship is important to us, and we desire to be a part of that at Emmaus.
We love starting with dinner or snacks around the table, kids included. It’s such a great opportunity to catch up on the week and build relationships with each other. Once the kids go off to play with the babysitter, we take dessert or coffee over to the living room and dive into the ice breakers and questions. We leave about 15 minutes at the end to talk about how we can be praying for one another and spending time in prayer together.
We love to stay active going for runs with our dog, hiking, and spending time with our family.
Kyle’s is Psalms.
Katherine’s is Jeremiah.
Katherine: The Hiding Place.
Kyle: Pilgrim’s Progress
Kyle: A burger from Clocked Diner in Athens, GA.
Katherine: Since this is my last meal on Earth, the whole Celiac’s/allergy to gluten doesn’t really matter… so I would choose to eat a Chick-fil-a chicken biscuit.
