Scripture speaks of a “great cloud of witnesses”—men and women whose lives of faith encourage us to keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith. Over the centuries, that cloud has grown to include influential voices like Augustine, Charles Spurgeon, and C.S. Lewis. In this course, we’ll explore the lives and legacies of these and other faithful disciples—who they were, what they did, and how their devotion to Christ can inspire and strengthen our own walk with the Lord. Come discover fresh courage and deeper devotion from those who have run the race before us!

About the Teachers

Nathan Graybill is a follower of Jesus, husband to Julie, and father of two. A member of Emmaus for over two years, he works in HR at Coca-Cola and enjoys time outdoors and learning to garden. 

Rick Evans is an apprentice of Jesus, married to Sandra with three grown children and four grandchildren. He has attended Emmaus since its beginning and enjoys the outdoors and studying church history.
