Meet the Leaders!

Hi! We're Jade and Julia Anderson. We have been married for 17 years and enjoying living in Buford with our 3 children. We have one high schooler and two middle schoolers in the Lanier cluster. We also have 2 adult children who are out of the house and working. We are currently in the process of becoming certified to become foster parents. We have been attending Emmaus for 4 years now and love the people and the expositional preaching.

We're excited to be leading our Missional Community Group again this year, and we'd love to have you visit with us!

Why are you leading a Missional Community Group?

We love Jesus and enjoy studying God’s word with fellow believers.

Describe how a typical night of your group unfolds!

We spend the first 20 minutes chatting and snacking. The next hour is spent discussing this week’s sermon. We end with prayer requests and prayer time.

What are some of your favorite things to do?

Jade enjoys fishing, hunting and playing guitar. Julia enjoys reading, singing and cooking.

What's your favorite book of the Bible?

Jade’s is Philippians and Julia’s is Acts

If you could only have one book, besides the Bible, on a deserted island, what would it be?

Jade’s is Borne Identity and Julia’s is The Hiding Place

If you knew you were eating your last meal on Earth, what would you have?

Jade’s is Mooney’s barbeque and Julia’s is Johnny’s Italian beef.
