Meet the Bairds!
We are a dynamic family of 6. Our children range from age 2 to 13. We homeschool and hybrid school with a teen and toddler so life is crazy but good.
We love to be a part of hosting an MC group because we love coming alongside our friends and other believers to do life together, helping through the hard, and challenging each other to grow in our faith and to have a good time doing it.
Typically, there is an initial social time for everyone to have time to connect, get food and drinks and catch up from the week. We then transition into a quieter setting where children move to a play area and the adults spend some time digging into scripture and how to apply it in today’s time. We have a wrap up time for prayer requests and prayer and then after the kids and adults rejoin for quick snack before they head out the door.
As a family we love the outdoors. We spend time hiking camping and finding ways to see Gods creation in its pure form. When we have limited time, we enjoy a good family and friends game night or sitting down to a movie.
I enjoy reading Proverbs with so much wisdom.

Meet the Seals!
We are Ben & Amanda Seals. We have 4 kids - 13, 12, 9, and 8 years old. We play baseball, volleyball, and piano between them all. We have been members of Emmaus for over 10 years now and serve as deacons. We are very excited to be launching a new Missional Community Group in our home this year! If you are looking for a place to connect - join us!
We think community is vitally important to our walk with the Lord and want to grow in Christ with others from our church.
We catch up a little while members arrive. We have a snack and talk about the sermon from the Sunday before. We pray with each other and end around 8:00pm.
Ben runs a business and Amanda stays home with 4 wild children ages 9, 8, 5, and 3 and has a small embroidery business. We love to laugh and our kid’s favorite game is “Tickle Monster”
We love spending time together, baseball, family game nights, taking walks, and watching movies!
