Operation Christmas Child

The What

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to demonstrate God’s love in a tangible way to children in need around the world through a simple shoebox gift. Through this project, Samaritan’s Purse partners with the local church worldwide to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and make disciples of the nations.

The Who

A project of Samaritan’s Purse, Operation Christmas Child has delivered more than 198 million shoebox gifts to children around the world since 1993. The project delivers not only the joy of receiving a gift, but also gives children a tangible expression of God’s love.

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
