"On July 16th, Sam will be undergoing endometriosis excision surgery. Endometriosis is a condition where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, often causing significant pain, inflammation, and infertility. We are praying that this surgery will relieve symptoms, improve Sam's health, and allow her to live and serve with greater freedom.
This surgery carries additional weight because we have been walking through infertility for the past 6 years. While the procedure offers hope for improved health, operating near and on Sam's ovaries also carries a risk of affecting her ovarian reserve and future fertility. We are asking God to give the surgeon wisdom and precision while preserving Sam's fertility throughout the operation.
Would you pray with us for:
- Wisdom, discernment, and steady hands for the surgeon and medical team.
- Complete and safe removal of the endometriosis while preserving healthy ovarian tissue and fertility.
- Relief from pain and other symptoms, with a smooth recovery and no complications.
- Continued peace, unity, and trust in the Lord as we walk through this season together.
- That He would bless us with children in His perfect timing.
