A Global Missions Partnership
In 2014, Emmaus Church began a global-missions partnership with a small community in Western Uganda called Kaihura. Kaihura is a small but beautiful village, filled with incredible people that we have cherished the opportunity to work with as we seek to make disciples and build healthy churches.
What we do
Making disciples always happens in the context of relationships. Our partnership with the community of Kaihura is built primarily upon building strong, enduring friendships of love with the beautiful people of this community. We seek to share our lives with them, that we may mutually encourage one another in the truths of scripture.
On a regular basis, we send teams of missionaries from our church to build relationships, serve, and share the Gospel with the people of Kaihura, Uganda. Our teams have engaged in a variety of missionary work in the community - from the training of pastors to caring for orphans. Through each team, we continue to build on the foundation of relationships for enduring Gospel ministry. If you would like to be involved in future teams, please email Pastor Brian.
Our priorities in Kaihura and in all of our global mission partnerships are biblical training, pastor theological education, and church planting. We aim to build a strong foundation of faith in Jesus through the faithful preaching of God's Word, that the people of Kaihura might endure in Christ-exalting Gospel ministry for generations to come. If you would like to be involved in our global missions efforts, email Pastor Brian.
Seeking to be faithful to the God's heart for orphans as seen in scripture, one way that we serve the community in Kaihura is through child sponsorship. Through a long-term partnership with Noah's Arc Children's Home, we are engaged in caring for orphans and vulnerable children in the community.
