Scripture is full of examples of lament, where prophets and poets wrestled with God through difficult times. Yet it seems we as modern believers have lost touch with the Biblical pattern for responding to God in difficulty, suffering, and grief. We’ll study Mark Vroegop’s award-winning book Dark Clouds, Deep Mercy to rediscover how God really wants us to faithfully pour out our complaints to him, and to turn to Him in trust through hard times.
